What it is good for

What to expect from the quality
Separation is very good and it is not magic. A clean, well-recorded modern production separates beautifully. A dense, heavily limited mix, a live recording with bleed, or a track where two instruments occupy the same frequency range at the same moment will show some artefacts.
The usual signature is a faint watery quality on held notes and reverb tails, because reverb belongs to every source at once and has to be assigned somewhere. For most uses, sampling, remixing, practice, it is far below the threshold that matters.

Common questions
What quality file should I upload?
The best one you have. A WAV or FLAC separates better than a 128 kbps MP3, because the encoder has already discarded information the separator would otherwise use.
Can I get more than four stems?
This tool returns the standard four. If you need only the vocal, use the Acapella Extractor, and if you need only the instrumental, use the Vocal Remover, both of which are tuned for that single job.
Is it legal to separate a song I did not write?
Separating audio you own or have the rights to is fine. Releasing a remix or a sample of someone else's record needs their permission, exactly as it always has. The tool does not change copyright law.
